Awesome Camp! What fun!!!

This is our last week of classes and set training before Holiday Break! It's super exciting to finally be getting into the ski season!

This time of year there can be a lot of changes that happen quickly so please watch for them!

Great job getting a solid OD rollerski in on Saturday!

We are now well into our Anaerobic Development and doing some amazing work! Getting ready for the first race on Thanksgiving Camp and the second at the Grand Mesa Season Starter!

Another weekend of awesome skiing!

Skiing two weekends in a row! WOW! Some of you are up to three skis, getting ready to do the good work on Thanksgiving Camp!

We are now well into our Anaerobic Development and doing some amazing work! We'll be doing another Medal Test on Tuesday so get those motors running!

WOW!!! What an amazing weekend of training in an incredibly beautiful place! Also super impressed with the incredible work that everyone put into this weekend!

This week we will be allowing your body to soak up the intensity so you can super-compensate and RAGE so we'll be doing a little less intensity this week and focus on some shorter OD in the middle of the week and our Gear Swap on Saturday.

Training 12/11 - Finals AND first Elite Team race!

We made it through the fall semester and now it's finals week! It can be challenging to find time to train this week BUT it sure helps you clear your head so it's sure worth the effort! We will only have organized practice through Thursday of this week due to finals & the elite team heading to Granby.

We will be posting the training for Jalapeno Peppers, if you don't know which Pepper (Pepper descriptions) you are please contact us and we'll help you decide!

The workouts we have on the schedule are not all team practices BUT if you want to be at your best for the ski season they are ALL super important!

Team Training will be in Green bold italics

Monday: Off
  • Take a nap!
Tuesday:
  • Morning 20-40min run active recovery/check in with your body run
  • 5pm, SIB 2010 No practice, please join us for the SUS Poster Presentation - there will be food! Informational Poster
Wednesday:
  • Morning or afternoon 20-40min run active recovery/check in with your body run
  • 2:30pm, SUS Apartments - Skate ski at Chimney Park (please bring skate AND classic in case the conditions are not optimal for skating)
Thursday:
  • Morning 20-40min run active recovery/check in with your body run.
  • 5:10 pm, RUN,Core & Yoga! Corbett Gym. We will do a short, 30min run to see the lights at Washington Park!
Friday:
  • EVERYONE: Get some skiing in!
  • ELITE TEAM: We will be leaving around 1pm, should get to Granby in time to ski.
Saturday:
  • ELITE TEAM: 5km Classic, interval start
  • EVERYONE: Choose your own adventure (2hr) - A race is always fun but if you can't find one then do whatever sounds fun. 
Sunday: 
  • ELITE TEAM: 7.5km skate, mass start
  • EVERYONE: Get some skiing in 1hr+!

We're moving towards the end of the semester! Hang on!

While we haven't been able to ski at Happy Jack we are definitely getting some packing done out at Chimny Park! Woohoo!

This time of year you need to be dynamic and ready for change so watch the GroupMe and ask questions!

What an awesome week of skiing! So needed and so fun! 
We thank you all for your engagement and excitement throughout the week!

After all the hours of training last week we will have a chill, recovery week planned.

Getting ready for THANKSGIVING CAMP!

This is a fantastic camp because we tons of skiing, tons of technique, eat tons of food, and have tons of fun!

In preparation for next week we are giving some time to play this weekend. The last team training for the week will be with the medal test on Thursday.

Feel free to get together to get some training in and even go up to ski!


Be sure to check it out for both our team training as well as when you are on your own.

We are starting our Anaerobic Development, let those dogs run!
