We're so excited about the Recovery Week! (Top of Baker Pass in the Never Summer Wilderness)
Wow! 3 beasty Volume weeks in a row! Well Done!

We now have made it to the recovery week! The goal here is to rest as much as you need to be able to head back into volume training. We will have MUCH less team training and you can also adjust as you need.

Here is the group training for this week. As always everyone is welcome, just come to the appropriate place and introduce yourself! If you can join us that's great but if not don't forget to check out the training schedule: Training

Monday
  • ​Off
Tuesday
  • 6am - Run, Core, Strength, Crossfit 7220
  • 5:30pm - Yoga, Education Annex 215
Wednesday
  • 5pm - Rollerski drills and technique work! UW Football Stadium 5pm. Please come to get some good information about rollerskiing and technique!
Thursday
  • OFF
Friday
  • No team training but a nice easy rollerski for 1 hr or less would be perfect.
Saturday & Sunday
No team practice but take one of these days off and then go for about 1:30hr of your choice for the other. You should hit next week with a bang!

Wow! What an amazing summer of training!

We are on our third of 3 volume weeks! Woo Hoo! Hang tough on the volume and you'll get a rest week!

Here is the group training for this week. As always everyone is welcome, just come to the appropriate place and introduce yourself! If you can join us that's great but if not don't forget to check out the training schedule: Training

Monday
  • ​Off
Tuesday
  • 6am - Run, Core, Strength, Crossfit 7220
  • 5:30pm - Yoga, Education Annex 215
Wednesday
  • 5pm - Over Distance, 1:40hr, Stadium Parking Lot to carpool. (We may have a long rollerski with a swim at the end to be sure to get onto the GroupMe for details!
Thursday
  • 6am - Run, Core, Strength, Crossfit 7220
  • 5:30pm - Yoga, Education Annex 215
Friday
  • 6:30am - Breakfast Club Rollerski. 1:30, Turtle Rock Coffee
Saturday & Sunday
We'll be doing and epic workout one of these days so be sure to get on GroupMe if you want to join. Otherwise: 1:50hrs OD of your choice one day and 3hrs OD of your choice the other!

Meet the newest addition to our team. Ripple the miracle kitten was found in the middle of the road last week on the way to strength. He's quickly found his way into the hearts of all the team members!
We hope you had a wonderful week and are finding the middle of the summer fun and full of good training!

We are on our second of 3 volume weeks so hang in there and keep that volume high! Remember that it's always fun to do some longer racing during the summer. Jumping in a half marathon, triathlon or something else that generally will take longer than 1 hour to do is great training.

Training 7/3 - Volume Week

Wow! What a fantastic weekend of training! A few members of our coaching staff and SNOW athletes visited our good friend and coach of Colorado Mesa University, Dave, for a weekend of good friends, good food and amazing training!

In three days we managed to get 12 hours of training, 57 miles (35 biking, 22 running), 8500ft climb & we finished by the most beautiful run imaginable!

We got our next Volume week off to a great start with a 5:25 hour run over Avalanche pass near Marble, Co.

This week is obviously a little different due to the July 4th celebration. We also are not quite sure what we will do on Saturday but come back to this site tomorrow for updates. Also, if you are in town and wanting last minute updates/changes to the training via text please comment on this post with your contact information and we'll get you on the list!

  • Off!
Wednesday
  • 5pm - Over Distance, 1:15hr, Stadium Parking Lot to carpool. Greetings! Today we will be doing a run followed by swim. You can choose your own ratio of running to swimming so bring the appropriate equipment!
Thursday
  • 6am - Run, Core, Strength, Crossfit 7220
  • 5:30pm - Yoga, Education Annex 215
Friday
  • 6:00am - Breakfast Club Rollerski. 1:30, Turtle Rock Coffee
Saturday
  • TBA but at least 2:30 OD hours of something amazing
Sunday
  • Choose your own adventure of 1:30 OD
Should be a fun week of training!
