Chimney Park Nordic Trails Grooming

Trail grooming has begun for the 2023/24 winter season at the Chimney Park Nordic Trail system.

This exciting public service is a collaboration between the University of Wyoming Nordic Ski Team, the University of Wyoming Division of Kinesiology and Health, SNOW, and the US Forest Service.

The trails will be groomed on limited weekends throughout the winter. Check below for up to date information.

The trails will be packed primarily for classic skiing, snow biking, and snow shoeing. We ask that users please stay to the side of the set classic tracks. Skate grooming will not be prioritized due to the narrow width of the trails and the amazing skate trails groomed by the Medicine Bow Nordic Association.
