Memorial Day Ski Camp
Welcome to the SNOW Memorial Day Nordic Ski Camp!

About the Camp:
SNOW is pleased to offer the Summer Nordic Ski Camp with University of Wyoming Coaches Christi Boggs & Rachel Watson as well as team members from the University of Wyoming. This camp is specifically designed for high school/junior Nordic ski racers ages 14-19. If you want to be a better racer and learn what it takes to be a top skier in the state or at Junior Olympics or be better prepared to continue racing in college then this is the camp for you. If you are considering skiing in college this camp would be invaluable for you!
The camp will take place May 28-31 at the Table in the Wilderness outside of Centennial, Wyoming. Centennial is about 25 miles west of Laramie, Wyoming. All camp participants will meet the Table in the Wilderness.
The camp will include crust skiing (snow permitting), ski specific drills, strength training, training tips and technique tips. Evening classroom sessions will include discussions on training, resting, understanding your body, nutrition and other topics. You will also get a personalized summer training schedule, and a gift.
The camp fee is $325. The cost will include coaching, room, board, transportation, swag and fun! No additional money will be needed by the participants.
Registration:
Please go to the Registration page for online registration and forms to fill out online or download and mail.
There will be 1 full camp scholarship given and 2 partial scholarships given. The full scholarship will give the recipient free participation in the camp. The partial scholarships will give the recipient the camp at $200. The awarding of these scholarships is dependent upon number of people enrolled in the camp, a minimum of 20 total participants are needed to provide scholarships. If you are interested in applying for the scholarship please send an email for application materials and instructions.
Our insurance is provided through US Ski & Snowboard so every athletes needs to have an active membership to attend the camp. If you purchased one for this past season it is valid through June 1, 2019. If you did not then you will need a 'General ($15)' Membership go to: http://my.ussa.org/membership/start
Deadline for registration is May 24th. The first 20 registrants receive a gift!

- 2 Water Bottles and/or thermos - one for training and one for breakfast drinks
- 1 plate, 1 bowl, 1 fork, 1 spoon and 1 knife (There are no dishes and silverware at the camp so you will use your own so we don't have to use disposable items)

- Sleeping Bag and pillow (it will get cold at night so bring warm stuff for sleeping! It has snowed almost every year!)
- Towel
- Toiletries
- Non-training clothes (make sure to bring something warm for the evenings, it will be pretty cold!)
- Questions for the coaches and college athletes
- Yoga Mat
