Another fun week of Holiday Break!

The Leadville Camp has been off the charts fun!!

While it is awesome to go home, visit family and friends, eat great food, sleep tons and generally be lazy this is a very important time for training. If you want to get all tuned up for the upcoming season you'll need to do some work!

Training for next two weeks:
Week of 12/22
  • Monday: Off
  • Tuesday: 6pm, Core & Yoga! Zoom Link: uwyo.zoom.us/j/577505810
  • Wednesday: 
    • Morning: Natural Intervals
    • Afternoon: 30min Active Recovery Run
  • Thursday: Merry Christmas! No Core & Yoga. Do something super fun today!
  • Friday: Warm up & Cool Down + Leg Speed Ladder (10sec, 15sec, 30sec, 1min, 1min, 30sec, 15sec, 10sec)* Variable by person you may receive additional instructions, if not then do this!
  • Saturday:
    • Morning: Race or Time Trial
    • Afternoon: 30min Active Recovery Run
  • Sunday: Over Distance (2ish hours)

  • Monday: Off
  • Tuesday: 45-1hr Active Recovery activity (easy ski or run),

  • Wednesday: 
    • Morning: Natural Intervals
    • Afternoon: 30min Active Recovery Run
  • Thursday:
    • 45-1hr Active Recovery activity (easy ski or run),

  • Friday: Warm up & Cool Down + Leg Speed Ladder (10sec, 15sec, 30sec, 1min, 1min, 30sec, 15sec, 10sec)*

We hope you are all recovered from the Thanksgiving Camp and ready to ROCK on Finals and for those of you going to the race!

This week is different in that it is 100% optional because we want no stress/conflict with your studies. That being said, nothing is better for your brain than going outside for a break! Optional practices are a great time to get some extra attendance points, to get your % up, now is the time!

Group training is in Red

Monday: Off
  • Take a nap!
Tuesday:
  • Morning 20-40min run active recovery/check in with your body run
  • General Strength - Link to description
  • 6pm, Core & Yoga! Zoom Link: uwyo.zoom.us/j/577505810
Wednesday:
  • Morning or afternoon 20-40min run active recovery/check in with your body run
  • 4:15pm, We'll see what's happening and if there is interest in a small group practice on this day.
Thursday:
  • Morning 20-40min run active recovery/check in with your body run

Friday:
  • 1hr Choose your own adventure. If you are racing you may want to ski or skate rollerski & do 5-7 15 second leg speeds during your ski.
Saturday:
  • Choose your own adventure (2hr) - A race is always fun but if you can't find one then do whatever sounds fun. Skiing is ALWAYS a good choice this time of year.
Sunday: 1hr
