What a fun weekend we had storming the castle! This week we will be doing some more hill resistance and another super fun workout through the fall colors, Roll and Run! You will definitely need your poles this week so bring them! We'll do a regular week of training and then take off on Friday for an awesome weekend with lots of hours! We have officially started our quadraped training so please bring your short, running poles to OD practices! It's been several weeks since we posted our training. This is due to the fact that the person who does this., Christine, broke her wrist and has had surgeries and lots of recovery. sorry for getting this but we're back!
Technically, this is a recovery week but since we didn't post anything I'm not sure if people did that, but just move on as if we were following the schedule following schedule. We also have some fundraising this week so we move forward with that! This is the week that you want to do no more than the planned training. We know it's a tough time of year to start something new, with finals coming, but this will help your brain work better and help your concentration so you should try to make an effort to jump in! Well, the weather has not entirely cooperated for either hanging out in the sun nor crust skiing BUT it's still spring and there are some moments of lovely!
You still want to be doing activities that sound fun to you or are eustress (help you in your recovery like yoga, walks, stretching, rolling, etc.) BUT you might want to start adding in some OD type things, runs, bike rides, climbing, etc. There is also still TONS of snow and it's a great idea to get on your skis. Spring skiing, especially crust skiing, is a gift to us and allows us to gain valuable ski skills when others are already on their feet! They are still grooming Happy Jack or go do some plowing through deep snow in the Snowies or Chimney Park. The crust skiing has been elusive but it will eventually come! We will strength, core & yoga again this week, to help with that eustress and start to rebuild our opposing muscle groups. Team Training: Tuesday: Corbett Gym

You should basically only be doing activities that sound fun to you or are eustress (help you in your recovery like yoga, walks, stretching, rolling, etc.) There is also TONS of snow and it's a great idea to get on your skis. Spring skiing, especially crust skiing, is a gift to us and allows us to gain valuable ski skills when others are already on their feet! They are still grooming Happy Jack or go do some plowing through deep snow in the Snowies or Chimney Park. We are also VERY close to crust skiing, probably good most places tomorrow!
