Finals week, closely followed by Holiday Break is here!!!
The Elite Team is also racing this week/next week in on the Midwest Odyssey, Duluth, MN and at the Gichi Gami Games in Cable, WI. This is finals week and despite what it might feel like at the time a study break is a good idea. It might be practice or it might be a run/walk but get outside! Awesome Camp! What fun!!!
This is our last week of classes and set training before Holiday Break! It's super exciting to finally be getting into the ski season! We are now well into our Anaerobic Development and doing some amazing work! Getting ready for the first race on Thanksgiving Camp and the second at the Grand Mesa Season Starter! Amazing work on FORO! WOW!
We are now moving into our Anaerobic Development AKA hill bounding!!! We'll be ramping up the speed this week so hold on! Woohoo! We got around the bike path many times, summited two 14rs, picked rasberries, bought many mellies, cooked amazing dinners (thanks Jack!), learned a lot about each other, and generally had a fantastic time! We will have less team training this week as we work to recover from the massive hours over the weekend. Those who were not there are fine to do some extras but for those who did the camp don't do anything extra until you feel excited to train, body and mind. Top of Mt Sherman! Woohoo! We made it through the long weekend with some EPIC training! Some half marathons, some 14er peaks climbed, Rollerski loops of the Mineral Belt, yoga in the park!
