It snowed! super fun to watch the huge flakes last night and wake up to just a smattering accumulated on cars and in the shade. Winter is coming!
We will now be moving into our next block of training, Hill Resistance! Yay! For hill resistance we are working towards getting our speed on. We are moving out of our OD blocks and ready for serious speed! If you haven't found your short poles you will need them for Wednesday. We also have our fun race this weekend (Race to the Tetons) AND MBNA Trail day so it will be a busy Saturday but super fun! Here is the group training for this week. Woo Hoo! What an adventure was had on Saturday! That's how to build GRIT!
We also had a successful fundraising activity on Saturday. Thanks to all the UW & LHS Athletes who participated. Well done everyone! The UW racers just finished your first entire week of school, well done! We have the exciting plan of doing a Medal Test this Wednesday! If you want to see how your fitness improves throughout the fall and/or from year to year this is the thing for you. Also, you can try to get yourself on the leaderboard! We'll also be doing our first full week of training with ALL the things! T-F should be familiar and we'll do a fun run/hike/loop up Medicine Bow Peak on Saturday. Wow! What a super amazing and fun weekend! We did so much adventuring!
Most of us are worn out so we will be doing shorter hours this week. We are in the Conditioning/Quadraped part of the year so please bring poles to run with!
