Speed Camp Information

Yay! We have gotten to one of the funnest weeks of most years and we will try to make it fun this year as well.

Remember that you need to be SNOW Member and signed the SNOW Waiver (this is for insurance) before coming on this trip. Signing up is FREE for UW Nordic Members, just fill out the Membership Form

There are some changes from the original plan, as the snow has given us ALL kinds of options!!!

Here is the plan for this weekend.

Thursday:

• 4:15pm, City Track - Medal Test

  • You will be moving through the stations one at a time, if someone is doing an activity and you have to wait please take a walk so as not to cause crowding.

Friday:

• 4:45, Happy Jack ski trails parking lot - Classic SKI technique!
• 7:30pm - Team Zoom activity: uwyo.zoom.us/j/577505810

Saturday:

• 9:00am, Sand Lake Road - OD Classic ski (we're not sure how far up Sand Lake we will need to go for snow. Just drive up the road until you see other cars!)
  • 12-4:30 - Lunch, Study Time, Nap, get horizontal
• 4:30pm - Yo-ski
• 6:30-8:30pm - Coaches Trick or Treat & baking contest (no costume no dinner!)
  You will come in your Houses and we will have grilled buffalo or veggie burgers (let us know if you want veggie burger so we have enough) and some sides. We will also have a variety of drinks. We will be eating outside around the firepit so dress warm!
  
  There will be a costume contest with prizes for both individual and Houses as well as a baked goods contest.
  • 6:30 - Team Zissou
  • 7:00 - The Lucky Charms
  • 7:30 - Hot Tamales

Sunday:

• 8:30am - Time-trial uphill Rollerski Location TBA, snow dependent.

We really will be Slaying the Dragon this weekend! RAGE!!!!
