Donate to support integrated scholarship and skiing in Wyoming!
SNOW is a social, environmental, athletic, academic, integrated organization that strives to support skiers in their pursuits in ALL of these areas. At this time SNOW is raising money to support the epitome of the student athlete at the World University Games! Twelve athletes from across the Nation were chosen to represent the USA in Switzerland. These athletes were chosen through competition at the College National Competition and seven of these 12 athletes are currently affiliated with Wyoming, either Wyoming citizens or attending the University of Wyoming! In order to enable student athletes to gain the richest possible experience while competing on the world stage, we have designed course curriculum to coincide with the student athletes’ international race experience. The course, entitled Dysbiosis to Pleuriversebiosis will focus on disease as both a symptom of planetary imbalance and also as a reminder of species and planetary resilience. This course has a set of learning outcomes, the most important of which is proposing, performing and presenting a research study.
In addition, SNOW wants to support the University of Wyoming Nordic Ski Team to take their superhero student athletes to the United States Collegiate Ski & Snowboard Association National Competition held in Lake Placid, NY in March, 2022.
We are also hoping to support a couple of honor students in their endeavor to attend the United States Ski & Snowboard Junior National Championships.
Finally, we continue to support young Wyoming skiers in renting equipment to help them take their excitement for skiing and move to the next level!
Help us support these incredible skiers as they pursue their competition and training dreams!
SNOW has 501(C)(3) tax-exempt status and as such your donation is tax deductible.
