FORO Information
Yay! We have gotten to one of the funnest weeks of the year! Fort Robinson!
Remember that you need to be SNOW Member and signed the SNOW Waiver (this is for insurance) before coming on this trip. Signing up is FREE for UW Nordic Members, just fill out the Membership Form To the right you will find a video that will tell you all about FORO. Just ignore the first part about driving, that was before we got off on Friday!!! You can also find all the info in the text below. |

Here is the plan for this weekend.
Everyone will need to bring all your breakfast and lunch food. There is NOWHERE to buy anything so bring it! Rachel & Christi will get food for grilling on Friday night. You will be asked to assist in cooking and cleanup.
Before we leave it would be a GREAT idea to watch the video to the right explaining the types of hillbounding. We won't be doing skate bounding this weekend but the rest is great!
We'll all be riding in Zima & the white van (we really need a name for it) & leaving right around 11am, or whenever is the soonest we can get everyone in the vehicles!
Bring snacks - there is nothing to eat or buy between here and Lusk so bring food!

- 8:30am - Time-trial uphill Rollerski
- 10:00am - Packing, cleaning, checkout, final debrief

- training clothes / rain jacket
- resting clothes / warm Norwegian-style (hipster) sweaters / extra warm socks
- homework or a book (there are no televisions but there is internet access in the main lodge)
- sleeping clothes (something warm - or opt for a bed buddy instead ;)
- water belt
- heart rate monitor
- a sense of fun and excitement!
